An easy cake, that has been my birthday cake since I was a young kid. This is my grat grandmother’s recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup sifted flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vinegar

  • 1/3 c cocoa

  • 1 cup oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Sift flower twice, add dry ingredients and sift
  • Sitr with spoon
  • Pour 1 cup water, vinegar, oil and vanila. Beat.
  • Bake 45-60 minutes in a 9 inch square or 35 minutes for 2 8 inch round pans.
